How it works · AI assists, clinicians decide

Three roles. One reviewed plan. Built around you.

AI-assisted intake captures your context. A California-licensed physician reviews and designs your plan. A registered nurse administers eligible care at a u-wellness hub.

01. AI-assisted intake

Share your goals, history, and relevant context through a guided intake. The AI helps organize your information, surface relevant considerations, and draft a starting point for clinician review. It does not diagnose, prescribe, approve, or release a care plan on its own.

5-10 minutes · from your phone

02. Physician review

A California-licensed physician reviews your information and may approve, modify, decline, request labs, or route you to a different form of care. The final plan is the clinician-reviewed version, not the AI draft.

Usually within a couple of hours

03. RN-administered care

For eligible u-wellness hub visits, a registered nurse verifies the plan, checks the treatment context, administers care, monitors for adverse signs, and documents the visit. At-home visits are planned for August.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

The short answers. Anything we missed — your physician will cover during review.

Why u-wellness?+

u-wellness combines AI-assisted intake with clinician-reviewed care. AI helps organize context, but licensed clinicians make care decisions. The goal is a more personalized process without removing clinical judgment.

Does the AI prescribe my care?+

No. The AI does not diagnose, prescribe, approve, or release a care plan. It helps gather information, summarize context, and surface relevant considerations. A California-licensed physician reviews the information and makes the care decision.

Where do you deliver?+

u-wellness launches July 17 at u-wellness hubs. At-home visits are planned for August for eligible patients.

How fast is the intake, really?+

Most members finish in one sitting from their phone. There are no clipboard rituals — only what's clinically useful. Physician review timing depends on clinical context; appointment scheduling follows from there.

How is my information protected?+

Your conversation, intake summary, and clinical notes are encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow HIPAA-aligned data practices and operate with a designated privacy officer. We do not display compliance badges as decoration.

What am I consenting to?+

You'll see and approve exactly what gets shared — with your physician, your pharmacy, and your lab — before it's shared. Nothing moves without your explicit consent at each step.

Can I delete my data?+

You can request access, export, correction, or deletion of your data from your account or by contacting us. Some clinical records may need to be retained for legally required medical-record periods.

Is u-wellness invite-only?+

u-wellness is currently opening through the July 17 launch flow. Get started to begin intake and choose an available u-wellness hub slot.

Do you take insurance?+

Concierge wellness is generally not covered by insurance. We provide itemized receipts and HSA/FSA-friendly documentation where it applies.
